Canon MG5220 Error B200 [Solved] | Print Head Voltage Error

  • Solution 1
  • 1.Turn the printer OFF and make sure there is plenty of ink left in all tanks.
  • 2.From “Devices and Printers” open MP640 properties and further the             “Maintenance” window.
  • 3.From Maintenance section select nozzle cleaning, preferably the ‘deeper’      one. And then STOP! Don’t START any cycle yet.
  • 4.Open the print head bay (as though you were about to change inks).
  • 5.Turn ON power.
  • 6.Wait for print carriage to start moving to the left and let it go past half way.
  • 7.Before print carriage reaches left hand side (but after going halfway                across) shut the cover.
  • 8.Printer’s display turns now dark colour and shows text “Canon” along the     ‘running balls’. During that time start the cleaning cycle but don’t do                  anything else, i.e. don’t try to print the test page yet.
  • 9.Right after initializing the printer starts cleaning cycle.
  • 10.After the cleaning cycle is ready run another one without printing                   anything. Make sure you don’t run out any ink.
  • 11.Print the test page to check if additional cleaning is still needed.

Solution 2

  • 1.Unplug printer
  1. 2.Remove all cartridges from the print head. Discard any that are empty,          nearly empty, or gummed up.
  • 3.Remove the print head- by lifting the gray plastic lever that locks it down,        then gently pulling the print head out.
  • 4.Inside the print head, thoroughly clean the areas around the sliver metallic    buttons”, using q-tips, and a solution of warm water mixed with a few drops     of alcohol.
  • 5.Set print head on a thick layer of paper towels, for 10-15 minutes. This lets   the watery ink solution bleed out through the area of gold contact lines on     the bottom.
  • 6.Repeat steps 4 and 5, using fresh q-tips, until no more ink bleeds out out      onto the paper towels.
  • 7.Let the print head dry out THOROUGHLY.
  • 8.Reinstall ink cartridges.
  • 9.Don’t re-use old, nearly empty cartridges, and don’t use super-cheap 10.cartridges. The latter seem to have a higher tendency to leak and gum up the print head.
  • 11.Plug in printer.
  •

Solution 3

  • 1.Turn OFF Power
  • 2.Open the print head bay (as though you were about to change inks)
  • 3.Turn ON power
  • 4.Wait for print carriage to start moving to the left and let it go past half way
  • 5.Before print carriage reaches left hand side (but after going halfway        across)
  • 6.shut the cover.
  • 7.Leave the Printer turned on
  • 8.Good to go.
  •

Note. Once the printer is turned off, when you turn it back on, you have to go through the entire procedure again or you get the error message. For More Information Canon tech support
