The revolutionary Japanese process using LISCIO products which can transform unmanageable hair to straight and soft with amazing shine!

The entire Pin Straight service takes up to 6 hours, depending on the length and condition of the hair, which makes it necessary to first arrange for a consultation appointment. At that time your hair will be analyzed to determine the process required as well as the cost determination.

The Pin Straight system, also known as Thermal Reconditioning, uses heat to restructure the cuticle of the hair to lay flat and smooth.

The Thermal Reconditioning system has been featured in many leading hair and beauty magazines, and has truly become a dream-come-true for so many. It's time to stop gazing into magazines and wishing for model-straight hair...with Pin Straight this can be a reality!

Pin Straight...the process

Moisturizing shampoo
Protein treatment applied to strengthen damaged or porous areas
Protection is applied to individual highlights and stressed or damaged areas
"Softening" solutions are applied which cuts the "Cystine Bonds" in the hair, relaxing the wave or curl
Hair is tested for necessary "softening" to determine if bonds are sufficiently cut
Hair is rinsed and additional protein is applied
Hair is blow-dried to eliminate most moisture
Thermal process applied -- hair is flat-ironed in extremely small sections wit specially designed tools which can reach temperatures up to 356° F
Neutralizer is applied to re-shape the "Cystine Bonds"
Hair is rinsed, conditioned, and styled
Some typical questions regarding Pin Straight

How long will Pin Straight last?
Treated hair will be straight forever! New hair, however, will be your natural texture.

How will my hair look after the process?
Your hair will be straight, with a soft feel and lots of shine!

Will I need to blow-dry my hair after the process?
Yes, but the time will be reduced dramatically. You will no longer have to put as much time and effort to maintain your smooth, straight style, even on humid days

How do I maintain my hair when the natural texture grows in?
Only the new growth is re-processed. The charges are usually 20% less, although the same amount of time is required in the retouch

How often must treatments be done?
Usually every 4-6 months the re-growth needs to be done, depending on the length and texture of your hair. Typically, longer hair needs to be done less frequently since the weight of the hair tends to stretch the re-growth. On hair that is very curly in certain areas (such as the hairline). These areas can be done more often if necessary.

Caring for your newly treated hair
For the 48 hours after your Pin Straight treatment, no shampooing, please. Wetting with water is fine to restyle, if necessary. We also advise that you do not clip, pin, put your hair in a pony tail, or tuck around your ears during this period. It is best to wait about 2 weeks before getting color or highlights.

"Flawless Skin" may seem like an unobtainable dream, but in actuality, having nearly flawless skin might be easier than you think. Here are some o the truly simple steps you should follow:

Cleanse regularly using mild liquid or bar cleansers. Twice a day, wash gently, use plenty of water, "pat" (never rub) your skin to dry it. If you're prone to break-outs, wash or replace makeup puffs and brushes often. Change pillowcases frequently. Wash the telephone receivers you use with alcohol once a week. Avoid very hot baths or showers.

Stay away from the sun. Most dermatologist now recommend wearing a sunscreen of at least SPF 15 on exposed skin whenever you go outdoors. Sun damage to skin represents the most visible source of aging. And, no cigarettes, because smoking, like sunshine, contributes to the breakdown of the web of collagen and elastin that keeps skin taught.

Feed your skin, it's your body's largest organ. Skin needs moisture to remain in-balance. Generally oil-free moisturizers are best except for the most severe cases of dry skin. Moisturizers work best when applied while the skin is still damp to seal in moisture and maximize hydration. Avoid caffeine-laden beverages and alcohol, both of which are notorious dehydrators.

Chill out. We know it's easier said than done, but stress undeniably shows up on your skin. You can attempt to diffuse stress with something your skin loves -- exercise. It pumps blood and oxygen to the skin and helps retain higher levels of moisture.

Alpha Hydroxy Acid may not be the "wrinkle-cure" that some claim, but it is a healthy way to exfoliate skin, and that is one of the secrets to a clearer, more radiant complexion. Your best bet is to try many brands and let your skin decide which it likes best. Then use regularly after cleansing and before moisturizing.

Eat right, sleep tight, and keep your hands away from blemishes. A healthy, a balanced diet is an essential basic to a healthy body and mind. Hardly anything can restore your spirits and vitality like a good night's sleep. And, when break-outs on your skin do occur, hands off! Attaching blemishes can cause permanent scars, so leave them alone or visit your dermatologist.
