Photos will be judged on overall quality, composition, creativity and impact.
all Participants will have their photos displayed at Blue Heron nature Center, and photographers will be honored at the Nature Center on January 25th, 2009.
Contest Rules
Photos must depict the natural environment of Staten Island
Color or black and white prints are eligible. ize of prints may be a minimum of 5x7 up to a maximum of 11x14 and must be submitted matted (no frame)
Adults may submit up to 2 prints in each of the 5 categories. A maximum of 5 prints may be submitted in the 17 and under category.
no pets, zoo or otherwise captive animals are eligible.
How to Enter
Entry forms are available at the Blue Heron Park nature Center, The Art Lab at Snug Harbor or can be downloaded from the friends of Blue Heron Park Website: http://www.preserve2.org/bluheron/
1 form per entry must be completely filled out and attached to the back of the photo.
Matted photographs may be dropped off at the following locations: The Blue Hero Park Nature Center, or the Art Lab at Snug Harbor Cultural Center.
Submission Deadline is November 30th, 2008.
